Workplace Organization or simply called 5S, is an integral part of the Lean and KAIZEN™ process. The 5S’s are Sort (Seiri), Straighten (Seiton), Scrub (Seiso), Standardization (Seiketsu) and Sustain (Shitsuke). When 5S BIC is performed as the first step of a Organization effort to drive continuous improvement, processes become more visible and identified “waste” is cleaned out and basically a cornerstone to all other continuous improvement KAIZEN™ activity. It is also part of the Daily KAIZEN™ Level 2 within the natural teams effectiveness in their respective workplace organization. 5S BIC clearly communicates that management is willing to allow the employees to be involved in the process of change. The goal of the program is to have an office area that is customer ready at all times. 5S BIC creates a neat, clean and orderly facility that will become a source of lasting pride for all employees. While change is often perceived with a sense of apprehension, participants in the 5S BIC program begin to taste change as something that can be positive and impactful.

The Lean-Six Sigma Green Belt training class provides delegates the Lean Six Sigma methodology and how it can be applied to their day-to-day and end-to-end process within the workplace. The delegate will discover the DMAIC phases including project charters, process mapping, waste elimination, cause-and-effect tools, simple data analysis and process improvement and control methods. The KAIZEN™ Foundations Certification Program is an introductory program designed to familiarize those with limited or no exposure to KAIZEN™/Lean methodologies to practices that reduce waste, identifies savings opportunities, and engages others to new and better ways of doing work. It exposes the student to a KAIZEN™/Lean Operating philosophy and provides them with the means to support it on a day-to-day basis. Students learn how introductory Lean tools foster a waste-free, customer-centric work environment. For those familiar with KAIZEN™ training, this covers the same course material as our Yellow Belt Training, but in an Online format. The program is delivered online with a live facilitator in a series of weekly modules. Evening programs will consist of two hour modules held once or twice a week, and Day programs will consist of 3 hour modules held once or twice a week. Please contact us if you wish to participate in the program, which runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings over the course of 7 weeks. The program will be scheduled for start when at least 8 students are registered!

KAIZEN™ is not limited to the use of diverse methods, but is about cultural change. Participants learn what this cultural change looks like and how Management or KAIZEN™ coordinators can influence the change process.

KAIZEN™ is based on the science of work, but the professional guidance of the KAIZEN™ process plays a key role. This is about more than just methods. The participants learn to enable employees in the KAIZEN™ process and to lead and to successfully develop themselves and other employees and their processes. With theory and practical exercises, the participants learn the procedure of continuously developing employees and successful sustainment of the KAIZEN™ process.

Participants will learn and practice further KAIZEN™ / Lean tools and methods to systematically reduce losses and waste (for example line stops and set-up times) and prevent errors. The participants learn how to work on zero-line principles and support the zero-defect philosophy in their own company.

The participants learn methods the systematic optimization and measurement of processes in administrative, R&D, service and production support areas. You will receive tips on the preparation and moderation of process improvement workshops.

This seminar is not limited to the use of different methods, but it is about the concrete implementation in projects. The participants learn the classic way to design and complete projects. In addition, the means, with which the project manager can influence the success of projects through the various phases, will be discussed.
